Our Club.  The Rotary Club of Stockton was formed in 1914, the 92nd Rotary club to be founded. Originally, Rotarians gathered with the purpose of increasing members businesses but Rotary quickly evolved as a charitable organization to become one of the leading service organizations in the world.

Stockton Rotary has a rich history in giving of its members time and money to local community projects and charities as well as supporting international projects, such as Polio Plus, the goal of which is to eliminate the disease.  Our past president Gary Putnam presented a talk to our club entitled, Humming the Rotary Tune, which reflects on the character of Rotarians.  Another talk given by our past president, current secretary and past District Governor, Susan Drake, recounts her experiences of being a Rotarian and challenges us all to be better Rotarians.
