Speaker...
Kathy Harris and Traci Petitt - Harris Leadership Development
The Generation Connection: Bridging the Gap
Kathy Harris suggested that to motivate the Millennial, or younger generation, business must change the way it communicates and the top down power structures often used in the corporate arena. We must be sensitive to generational differences which cause miscommunication.
She said that while older employees expect the normal procedures to be followed at work that they must now realize that often this frustrates and stagnates younger members of the work force.
Young people do not have to keep up with technologies because it is the only world that they know.
Kathy Harris and Traci Petitt were introduced by Graham Tweedy.
